Courageous Dorothy from Racot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Racot in the old days Radsat, after 1600 Racat, today Racot. A town in the Greater Poland Voivodeship already mentioned in 1366. It was owned by Borek Gry\u017cy\u0144ski, then Leszczyce from Gu\u0142t\u00f3w. Then, goods in Racot pass into different hands. Among the owners there are, for example, William III, William Frederick, Duke of the Netherlands, and Wilhelmina Maria Luiza Zofia, Duchess von Sachsen-Weimar. In 1919, under the Treaty of Versailles, all goods and equipment became the property of the Polish State Treasury. Pursuant to the Ordinance of the President of the Republic of Poland, the State Horse Breeding Plant was established in Racot, pursuant to the Act on State Horse Breeding Companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The heir of Racot in the years 1676-1719 was Piotr Bronisz, and after his death in 1719, until 1773, his only daughter Dorota primo voto Jan\u00f3w Radomicka, secundo voto princess Stanis\u0142awowa Jab\u0142onowska. With pain in his heart, Piotr parted with his wife and only daughter Dorota, but he entrusted the property to the commissioner Dobrogost, whom he valued and trusted like his son. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, as in life the greedy steward decided to rob his master, and made his wife slow by his whims. The woman’s health deteriorated and soon died. And the rebellious Dorotka was expelled from the court. She traveled out into the world and fell ill with pneumonia while traveling. A wealthy Turkish merchant found her somewhere and took care of her. He took her to his country and cared for her as if he were his own daughter. Hedgehog life was prosperous. She was surrounded by service, basking in Turkish luxury, but she had not forgotten her father. Fate wanted her to meet a middle-aged man during a mercantile expedition with her guardian and recognize him as her father. So they returned to Racot together and, with a group of armed men, reclaimed their goods from the hands of the greedy Goodrogost. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They threw him into a dungeon and there he was dying of hunger in agony, receiving a bundle of straw for food once a day. Apparently, you can still hear moans from the palace dungeons on moonlit nights.
