He killed two king’s horses and two men from the king’s service, they were Bachmat and Maciej Czarny. He also killed the horses on which Miko\u0142aj – Sandomierz and S\u0119dziw\u00f3j – Pozna\u0144 voivodes, Henryk of Rog\u00f3w, Jan M\u0119\u017cyk and seven other knights rode. The riders themselves suffered no offense. At the end, he killed the king’s horse, on which the squire Porsztek from Czczyca rode after the king – with rohatyna in his hand; on this he ruffled his robe, but he did not strain the bollard itself. The king himself, stunned by the bang, lay breathless for a moment, so that there were even those who began to mourn his death. And this event took place in the forest going through a wedge from Kobyle Pole in the direction of Tulce, near the village of Garby. This is how history happened in Tulce with the participation of our great ruler and hardly anyone knows about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In 1784, the church was expanded, extending the nave and adding a tower, giving it its final shape at the beginning of the 20th century, adding a sacristy and a porch. The church in Tuleca is single-nave, with a lower and narrower presbytery on a square plan, currently described as late-romanesque, oriented, built of brick in the Venetian layout. Part of the nave is baroque, as is the cupola of the low tower on the roof of the nave from the west.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To this day, the church dominates the village. As a Marian shrine, it is a pilgrimage destination.
