Wcale nie \u017babno by\u0142o celem tej wycieczki, a Esterpole , kt\u00f3rym ju\u017c pisa\u0142em. Pogoda nie nastraja\u0142a do dalszego dzia\u0142ania. Wicher, zimno, wilgotno \u2013 wczesna wiosna! Drewniane ko\u015bcio\u0142ki s\u0105 jednak intryguj\u0105ce. Z zewn\u0105trz  banalne, wr\u0119cz nijakie. Czarne albo br\u0105zowe. Czasami przechylaj\u0105 si\u0119 troch\u0119 na jedn\u0105 stron\u0119, ale za to wn\u0119trza maj\u0105 fascynuj\u0105ce! Tak te\u017c jest w ko\u015bciele  pod wezwaniem \u015bwi\u0119tego Jakuba w \u017babnie. Jednonawowy bez belki t\u0119czowej (podobno by\u0142a kiedy\u015b, ale ja zdemontowano co naruszy\u0142o konstrukcj\u0119) o zaskakuj\u0105cej kolorystyce \u015bcian. Ko\u015bci\u00f3\u0142 by\u0142 ju\u017c zamkni\u0119ty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Przez szklane drzwi wida\u0107 jednak dope\u0142niaj\u0105cego swych obowi\u0105zk\u00f3w po ostatniej mszy ko\u015bcielnego. Zagai\u0142em i uda\u0142o si\u0119 wej\u015b\u0107 do \u015brodka. Pachnie dawnymi dziejami, ze \u015bcian zerkaj\u0105 drewniane podobizny \u015bwi\u0119tych. Na suficie intryguj\u0105 polichromie z 1956. Pan ko\u015bcielny ch\u0119tnie opowiada histori\u0119 budowli, kt\u00f3ra ma ma\u0142o spotykan\u0105 konstrukcj\u0119 sumikowi-\u0142\u0105tkow\u0105, oszalowan\u0105, a \u015bciany wn\u0119trza s\u0105 o ile dobrze pami\u0119tam z olchy. Ko\u015bci\u00f3\u0142 zosta\u0142 wybudowany 1789, a po\u015bwi\u0119cony 1792 powsta\u0142 na miejscu doszcz\u0119tnie spalonej \u015bwi\u0105tynni pod wezwaniem Wniebowzi\u0119cia NMP, \u015bwietych Trzech Kr\u00f3li oraz Archanio\u0142a Gabriela. By\u0142o to w noc wielkanocn\u0105 1526 roku z dawnej \u015bwi\u0105tynni ocala\u0142 tylko fragment krzy\u017ca. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wystr\u00f3j jest barokowy z pi\u0119kn\u0105 ambon\u0105, oryginalnymi organami i o\u0142tarzem z wizerunkiem \u015bw. Jakuba.  W czasie wojny ko\u015bci\u00f3\u0142 s\u0142u\u017cy\u0142 okupantom jako magazyn, po wojnie zosta\u0142 odrestaurowany dalej s\u0142u\u017cy mieszka\u0144com i zachwyca przyjezdnych.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bardzo dzi\u0119kuj\u0119 panu ko\u015bcielnemu za mo\u017cliwo\u015b\u0107 zwiedzenia ko\u015bcio\u0142a i ciekaw\u0105 opowie\u015b\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u017babno. A village in Wielkopolska, located in the \u015arem district, in the commune of Brodnica. This is where the Wielkopolska route of Saint James to Santiago de Compolstella runs. In 1642, \u017babno even had city rights. In the 18th century, the owners were Ch\u0142apowski, then Bni\u0144scy, Zakrzewski until 1886 \u017babno passed into German hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u017babno was not the destination of this trip, but Esterpole, which I have already written about. The weather did not encourage further action. Windy, cold, damp – early spring! Wooden churches, however, are intriguing. From the outside, banal, even bland. Black or brown. Sometimes they tilt a little to one side, but the interiors are fascinating! This is also the case in the church of Saint James in \u017babno. Single-nave without a rainbow beam (supposedly it used to be, but it was dismantled which violated the structure) with surprising colors of the walls. The church was already closed. Through the glass door, however, you can see the priest performing his duties after the last church mass. I did and managed to get inside. It smells of old times, wooden likenesses of saints peek from the walls. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The polychromes from 1956 on the ceiling are intriguing. The church man willingly tells the story of the building, which has a rarely seen post-and-plank construction, boarded, and the walls of the interior are, if I remember correctly, made of alder. The church was built in 1789 and consecrated in 1792 on the site of a completely burnt temple dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Holy Three Kings and the Archangel Gabriel. It was on the Easter night of 1526 that only a fragment of the cross survived from the former temple. The interior is baroque with a beautiful pulpit, original organs and an altar with the image of St. Jacob. During the war, the church served the occupiers as a warehouse, after the war it was restored and continues to serve the residents and delight visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
