Po drugiej wojnie \u015bwiatowej rdzennych mieszka\u0144c\u00f3w wysiedlono w ramach akcji Wis\u0142a. Gospodarstwa upad\u0142y, a by\u0142o ich tu ponad sto. Drewniane domu zbutwia\u0142y. Pozosta\u0142y tylko po nich kamienne fundamenty i zdzicza\u0142e drzewa na zboczach gdzie dawniej by\u0142y ogrody. Wyci\u0119ty z blachy, wyblak\u0142y krucyfiks stoi przy drodze.  Jest to tajemnicze nieco, pe\u0142ne energii, mo\u017ce nawet troch\u0119 z\u0142owrogie miejsce. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bia\u0142a Woda Jaworki nature reserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Formerly a village with that name. Already in the fourteenth century, the Wallachian colonization of the Carpathians west of Romania took place here. The village is hidden as if in a ravine. Situated on the Jasienik stream, it is an unparalleled place. Here, in isolation from other cultures, lived the so-called noble Ruthenians. In the interwar period, only one Pole lived here, and in addition he was married to Lemka. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the Second World War, the indigenous inhabitants were displaced as part of the Vistula operation. The farms collapsed and there were over a hundred here. The wooden decayed house. Only stone foundations and feral trees on the slopes where there used to be gardens remained. A faded crucifix, cut out of sheet metal, stands by the road. It is a bit mysterious, full of energy, maybe even a bit ominous place. At the stream, the old shepherd, turned into a willow, peers ominously with the sadness of persistence. We go on, leaves rustle. Young white-tailed eagles learn to fly over the hilltops. They take off, circle a while and return to the nest. We look around worried if the band of robbers will suddenly fall out screaming from the bushes. The watchful shepherd dog looks after the sheep. A pair of peculiar lovers march in the middle of the road. She is wearing only socks, he is staring at the abyss. We look in the window – the clock goes backwards. This strange gorge is like a time tunnel. We go back to the past that exists here. We leave here younger and full of energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the reserve in Jaworki, there are several more attractions, such as the Music Club Owczarnia Wie\u0144czys\u0142awa Ko\u0142odziejski, the Homole Gorge in the valley of the Kamionka stream, the Bac\u00f3wka restaurant where you can eat a great dinner at an affordable price, and more, the Church of St. st. John the Baptist in Jaworki, a former Orthodox church. Plenty of beds and great walking routes. A chairlift, mountain huts and magnificent viewpoints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
